what if a topless chick delivered it and gave you head throughout the screening?
it would be a day the earth stood still marathon.

Star Trek - 7/10

Actually pretty good. A few silly things, but a nice way of explaining this new continuity. Very shiny, plenty of lens flare. Good pacing, feels pretty much up to date style wise. All in all, better than expected.

Terminator Salvation: 6/10

Utterly disappointing. Why are people comparing this to Batman Begins?

Pixar delivers a brilliant children's movie that probably has more to offer to the adult audience rather than the kids.

Incredibly touching with great imagination and riddled with a few laughs.
I kinda want to see this.

Terminator Salvation: 5/10
Franchise is dead. RIP and stay down.

Drag Me To Hell: 6/10
This isn't Evil Dead -- even though it wants to be.

Up: 7/10
Not Wall-E quality by any stretch.

All underwhelming. The Pixar short feature before Up ("Partly Cloudy"), however, is utterly amazing.

He comes across as a very honest person who admits he made bad decisions and was taken advantage of. He comes across as very sympathetic, the documentary changed my opinion of him.
Recently saw Tyson as well. I'm not sure what to give it, but it was a pretty good movie. I liked it. I'm glad I watched it.

I thought the direction was generally pretty good, but I really disliked when they showed different angles at once, especially with him talking at the same time. It was mostly pointless and the director seemed to just do it for style points. I thought it was distracting and made Tyson harder to understand than he already is.

Yes our local paper gave it 2.5 stars so that is why I will wait for the dvd release.... I went back again to see Star Trek...that's how good it is.

Blade Runner - Holy crap they packed some awesome video quality onto the 2-disk DVD set. Nearly high-def.

Hangover--good, great audience reaction. Dumb humor, but good dumb humor entwined with a very funny story. Some recycled jokes, lots of new ones, and some well-played roles all around.
btw, some heavy play on situational kid jokes, which might be uncomfortable for parents (especially new ones).

that part was pretty funny.
Not to take away from the hilarious parts, but leaving the kid in the car in Vegas, slamming the door into the kid, etc. etc. just kind of left me cringing a bit.

Up - 7.5/10 - it's pixar, so if you like previous pixar movies you'll like this one. if not...
i thought the 3D was used well though. not gimmicky like the old Jaws movie where crap was always flying out at you. just a movie that happened to have depth. gg.

I saw it last night, and I took away pretty much the same thing. He doesn't make any excuses for himself, and hearing his story adds a lot of perspective to his life and career.

As painful as it was, I'm glad I watched it.
