1080p for me is enough until i start upgrading. That said the 1080 cards out no just aren't selling as well as the manufacturers thought they would so there's some good prices knocking about.

Overwatch system requirements are relatively low. I play it on an ATI Radeon M card in my laptop. Granted, all gfx settings are low but it sticks to a good enough frame rate to play well. So you don't need a beast of a PC for it.

I fond it weird now how the CPU has taken a back seat to the GPU. i'm told by a few people the i7 is a waste of money unless you need to mine shit and even then the GPU is the work horse.
was chatting to the man from PNY a few weeks back and going over the Quadra cards.

i7 is great if you do any video rendering, gaming's just a bonus with it. I also find they overclock better

GPU being more important than CPU is true. A modern GPU does so much that a lot of the heavy CPU work is actually delegated to the GPU.

It just gets worse. I wish the group I play with actually played more than once a week.

I play with all settings at max on a 1070 and I get a constant 90 FPS. My G-Sync monitor is icing on the cake.

I play with everything on Max @ 1080p and it's locked are 70fps and doesn't drop below thato. On a 970 still...I want a gsync so bad...
