The main reason I still come to these forums is that it is not overrun by teenagers.

Do you really want to know how old I am? Hey! I didn’t hear you. Do you really want to know how old I am?
Let’s just say…Today is our Fête de la st-jean Baptiste My gf has gone out to the fiesta with her sister to see and hear Claude Dubois, one of our most loved singer in Quebec. I’m here with my cats with you and watching news, listening to the radio and there is a good recipe I don’t want to miss on TV, so I have to leave.

Lars is old enough to have fathered a bunch of us, and that bunch is old enough to be Ganemi and co.'s father/mother. Does that make this a multigenerational BB?

Something like that.

I'm thankful that I didn't waste my late teens and twenties chatting with strangers on a message board. That's why it's so shocking to see this many young people here throwing away their time in cyber space. When I was that age, I was constantly out doing something. I was putting custom audio systems in my cars, going out to clubs dancing with chicks, going to the beach with the jet ski, playing beach volleyball and the list goes on.... I got involved with this after I got married. When you're suppose to alter your lifestyle a bit.

Maybe this is why the world is becoming overrun with fat, pale dorks..... I would like to encourage the youth of these forums to turn off their PC's and go outside. Because if you're spending time chatting on a UBB, you're wasting some of the best parts of your life.

Funny you should say that, as I was thinking about how much time I DID in fact lose here when I was younger. once I started working out and met lots of girls, I didnt visit this place and now I've been enjoying life. I just came back on here to say hi to some of my old mates. :icon25:

Its no different than posting here in your 30s; its still wasting time in front of a monitor either way :icon27:

but it is different - your teens are when you get to do all the best things in life, and when you're in the best position to do them. the way he's said it is opening himself up to ridicule, but gramps has a point.

I'm married and have a kid. I have ties and major responsibilities. I can't take off on a whim or stay out all night. I have a job and family to take care of. I'm not going out and picking up chicks, because I'm married and love my wife. I've had my youthful fun and it wasn't spent in the virtual world. I'm 36, not 21. What kind of loser between the age of 18 and 25 (not married) is sitting home on the internet on a Saturday night? Hell, anyone who's single shouldn't be home tonight, unless they have to work "early" Sunday morning.

It's still wasting time. But at least I'm not wasting my youth.

Shut it, nerd. That's just the subconscious of your juvenile mind purposely misinterpreting my comments in order to compensate for your wasted youth.

Go out side and find a girl.

What's really amazing is how many internet dork's feelings I can hurt by posting on a UBB.
