yea, my brother bought a really nice house here, 4500 square feet, all finished, 2 kitchens, a HUGE rec room in the basement - one of those 50 foot long guys that makes for a great home theatre, 2 living rooms, etc...265,000. Would have easily been a million plus over there.

damn. I'm thinking about getting out of here, bham is the shit as far as quality of life goes but 265 is going to get you a mobile home if you are lucky these days.
Its just so hard to leave when I can look over my left shoulder and see the ocean and mt. baker over my right.
