Or worse yet, have a leg/arm stuck under one side and burned to fuck.
lol have you ever ridden a bike b4? who the fuck drops it and stays in a sited position

I've got a nice scar on my right calf from an exhaust pipe from nearly 15 years ago. It happens.
edit: well, not so much a scar anymore, you can barely even see it now.

what's the purpose of the low riding seat on a bike like this? (posted above)

Lower center of gravity or something, reason I'm wondering, appears to be a motocross/enduro style bike, where it doesn't matter that much.

That bike is made for going over extreme obstacles.

This the kind of obstacles you are speaking of.
I know those aren't the right kind of bikes, but it's the only thing with a dirt bike I knew of that didn't involve the x-games style extreme.

My friend crashed his GSX-R 600 two nights ago. He was drunk and hit gravel on a turn doing 50mph. He wasn't even wearing a shirt and somehow walked away with a few scratches. Lucky, lucky fucker. and very stupid

If it helps, my dad started riding when he was ~45 and started with a 600cc, it was either this or something similar... don't quite remember right now:
Then after a year or so of learning to ride and such, he sold it and got an Aprilia Futura 1000cc touring bike:

He has the saddlebags that he uses for long trips like when he went on a group trip completely around lake michigan... it's a pretty cool bike
