Prexactly. Thoroughly enjoyed all of them so far. Only one I haven't played is EP 2.

There is not supposed to be an aiming crosshairs in TF2 is there? It's a bit of a pain without one.

I think tnf's referring to the xbox360 version, as we all know that there's definitely a crosshair on the PC version.

yea, advanced ( that i'm having a few issues with )
And the time trails!
p.s. anyone think that the game play was a little to "guided"
Even the Developers admit it in the comintary.

I just finished Portal, and I can say that without a doubt, it's the most fun I've had playing a video game in a long time; by the time you listen to "Still Alive", it's almost as if the world is one and everything in your life makes sense.
Whoever is behind all the humor in that game needs to work on every Valve game from now on.

I forgot how long the regular SP campaign in HL2 is. How do episode 1 and 2 compare in length to the original game?

I heard episode 1 was very short.

Ep2 is about an hour or two longer than Ep1. It feels much fuller from my experience.
First off, comment system is great. It really is amazing how much playtesting these games go through, and how many time certain section are redesigned.
Also, G-man sightings are back, after a short hiatus in Ep1. So far, I've spotted him twice.
(SPOILERS)
1. When you reach the rebel base and first spot the car across the valley on the bridge, turn left and look through the skinny windows. You'll see him walk by on the road below.
2. Prior to your conversation with Eli at White Forest, his silhouette appears on the large monitor.

In the original HL2 I saw him at one of the rebel outposts that you can look at through binoculars from an enemy outpost before going there....its during the mission where you are on the skimmer boat. Other than that, I don't think there have been a bunch of them that I've noticed in the original HL2...but I probably missed many if there were more. That G-man concept was one of the most intriguing and frustrating (in a good way) aspects of any game I have played starting with the first game. Bugged me a bit early on wonder wtf he was doing and pissed me off a bit when you never really found out.
Glad I went ahead and replayed the game before doing ep1 and 2. This game is brilliance in writing, gameplay, story, voice acting, etc etc etc. Where Halo3 SP feels almost like a chore to play through, this game has seemed more fun this time through than the first time I finished it on the PC two or so years ago.

Episode2 fleshes out the story of G-man quite a bit more than any of the other games in the series imo. He's still just as mysterious as before, but his relationship with the surrounding world is revealed somewhat.

I've always thought the main point of the G-Man was to totally get up the player's nose by happily sauntering through places where the player has to fight through tooth and nail. He's all over HL2, I think my favourite one is the appearance on the TV. I'm sure some geek will have written a guide to sightings.

there are a ton of sightings, if you pay attention.. usually before and after fights you can see atleast somthing involving g-man.
he will be looking from a roof, from a window, walking in-front of you, walking around where you need to be, etc.
he's present i would say 4-5X the ammount he was in HL1.

Those advisors really are awesome. Can't beat a bit of force death grip and freaky psychic attacks.
