Wabbit said the place wasn't exactly bustling. If it was brought up casually right at the get-go I think the reaction would have been a lot different. Instead, she got ambushed.

I doubt it would have been -that- much different. Probably useless, really. She would have rolled her eyes and assumed things weren't wrong and felt horrible and cried inside instead of outside, I would imagine.

Just from how Wabbit described the skank. And given the space between when it happens, it's not that shocking that no one wants to be the one responsible for telling the nasty bitch. It's one of those things that is JUST annoying enough to stick with you without being annoying enough to quite speak up about it. If it happened just a bit more, maybe.

But getting literally nauseous about it and still not speaking up? Whoever that was, they're a pussy.

Problem solved.

While I, and seemingly a good majority of you guys, would have just said something to her obnoxious face... someone could have scribble out a note and left it on her desk? You know, the girly way... "I didn't want to hurt anyone's ffffeeeeeeelllllliiinnnnngggggsssss..."

You are exactly right. It wouldn't have been different at all. Patti stopped talking to Bert (our supervisor) for three months this past winter when Bert teased her about it snowing at her exit.

Office slang perhaps.

I was unclear because it's a long stupid story. Basically, our office complex is in a somewhat rural, hilly area. Patti lives even further west (less populated area) and in the winter when it snows, it makes taking the exit off the highway to her home more difficult. So one night, Berta was joking around and told Patti "oh yeah, I was listening to the radio and they said it was snowing at your exit." (meaning the exit she takes to get home). Patti flipped out and started crying so Berta told her she was joking, there was no problems. Patti didn't speak to her for 3 months. Just an illustration that Patti is over-sensitive and holds a grudge for the smallest reasons.

Its easy just tell her "look, you're fat. I'm not going to sugar-coat it, because you'd eat that too"

Yes!

That's why I can't ask her to cover her mouth or anything else. She'd start crying and I'd get in trouble with management. That's why Berta needed to deal with it. If Berta makes her cry, oh well, Patti must have done something. If I make her cry, I'm an unreasonable bitch with a vendetta.

Correct.

I'm the reasonable bitch with a vendetta.

Can we all take a minute to appreciate the comedies here?

And man, I knew I was right about that oversensitive bitch thing. My ability to know what the fuck is up is highly trained. Plus I am incredibly good looking.
