Ya horka, that's it. Even though everyone in the intelligence organizations knew the case for WMD's was bullshit.QuakeThane wrote:tnf wrote:Bush gets up and criticizes Russia for invading a country without even batting an eye....amazing arrogance this one has.- The US was seeking weapons of Mass destruction. Russia is just acting up since China is distracted by the Olympics. We helped out Iraq and even got a few of their women outta turbines. I seen em on You Tube now.

Well I think Russia was screaming the same thing when we invaded Iraq. "Oh we demand the US to stop this aggression." Now puppet master Putin is gonna Roll the Euro into a recession so the US Dolla will rise. Its all apart of the Master plot of smoke and Mirrors.tnf wrote:

Genocide is a big word... It's a dirty landgrab that went horribly wrong and civilians tend to get killed in those. Semi random shelling is not systematically wiping out a people. I'm thinking Putin threw that one out there as a sort of preemptive strike, before the Western press could use that one against Russia for what they're doing in Georgia.Captain Mazda wrote:Except it really was the Georgians planning genocide against the South Ossetians. Russia saved them by intervening. Most people are just too dumb to look beyond CNN and Faux News and look for any excuse to jump on the anti-Putin/Russia bandwagon.
It's simple: Ignore the mainstream media.tnf wrote:Mainstream media is saying Russians are pushing further into Georgia despite the truce possibly heading to the capital while the Russians are telling everyone they aren't going to the capital.
What's the story?
I've already mentioned that the Georgians were not attacked in an unprovoked manner and that they had been fucking with the South Ossetians prior to all this.GONNAFISTYA wrote:It's simple: Ignore the mainstream media.tnf wrote:Mainstream media is saying Russians are pushing further into Georgia despite the truce possibly heading to the capital while the Russians are telling everyone they aren't going to the capital.

If you keep paying attention to them you'll eventually believe that the Georgians were attacked in an unprovoked manner, that the Russians are killing and eating Georgian babies, that Russia's plans for the area will eventually culminate into marching south-west and invading Isreal to steal their bags of jew gold and that they must be stopped at all costs lest freedom disappear in the universe.....
....or along those lines.
The Braidwood inquiry finished up here in BC recently with the finding that the Taser is a legitimate tool, albeit (much) more training is required. The inquiry made some good points though. In the past the Taser occupied the same level as a baton on the use of force continuum. The recommendation was that it be moved to a new category between non-lethal (OC spray, batons) and lethal (firearms) use of force levels. By making that change officers would have to justify the Taser's use and use other control methods first rather than using it as a first response. Hopefully the RCMP gets moving on implementing that recommendation in the near future.GONNAFISTYA wrote:

it's an autonomous region, whatever that means, and it's full of people who aren't georgianFoo wrote:So is Ossetia a state in its own right or is it part of Russia or Georgia?
media simply means median, it's a barrier between what really happens and what we're told... unfortunately hardly anybody looks beyond or around the mainstream media and refuses to accept anything other than what the big news corporations choose to tell them.tnf wrote:Mainstream media is saying Russians are pushing further into Georgia despite the truce possibly heading to the capital while the Russians are telling everyone they aren't going to the capital.
