Your media are letting him get away with it.

They're the ones who ask the questions.
They're the ones who run the debates.
They're the ones who pick your Presidents.

Err, that's not so much an endorsement of Hamas as it is another display of utter stupidity camouflaged in nonsenical gibberish laced with key words.

Really... what does this mean? What is she saying?
"Yeah, well especially in that region, though, we have to protect those who do seek democracy and support those who seek protections for the people who live there. What we're seeing in the last couple of days here in New York is a President of Iran, Ahmadinejad, who would come on our soil and express such disdain for one of our closest allies and friends, Israel ... and we're hearing the evil that he speaks and if hearing him doesn't allow Americans to commit more solidly to protecting the friends and allies that we need, especially there in the Mideast, then nothing will."
...nothing, that's what. She quite simply doesn't have a clue what the question means. Ye gods, the debate with Biden should be fun...

i'm not sure if he has the patience to not say something mean to her (eg- Am I being punked or are you really this retarded?)... republifascists will whine about "angry, elitist liberals" and it'll come out 50/50 again because for every person that sees how dumb she is another will rally to her for being "real."

When he faces off against Sarah Palin Thursday night, Joe Biden will have his hands full.

I should know. I've debated Governor Palin more than two dozen times. And she's a master, not of facts, figures, or insightful policy recommendations, but at the fine art of the nonanswer, the glittering generality. Against such charms there is little Senator Biden, or anyone, can do.

The "Troopergate" episode (god I hate saying that) seems to be getting a little warmer for her.

http://mudflats.wordpress.com/2008/09/2 ... a-pancake/

It seems she tried to coerce a workman's comp company into denying his claim - implying their $1.2 million contract wouldn't be renewed if they didn't deny it.

And her husband stalked the guy with a camera. :olo:

and now they're starting to prep the media-bias excuse for the eventual post debate outrage.

Yea I saw that. You have to admit that republicans sure know how to compensate well for a lack of substance.

From what I've seen of Biden, he seems like a pretty emotional, outspoken kind of guy.
Kind of like the much needed in-your-face yang to obama's introvert yin.
So I expect some fireworks.

However, him slaughtering Palin will probably be perceived as sexist and woman bashing.
It's just like in the playground; fighting a girl = lose/lose.

It is indeed lose/lose because those Republican fagg0ts need to be mercilessly put in their place, completely discredited and from this day forward their ideology perceived as the joke that it is.

The cyclic mess that is world events really needs to stop happening. People need to stop getting bored of peace and relative stability to turn around and vote a nutjob right-winger into office for "something fresh". FFS.

Bill Mahar said it correctly on the Daily Show on Tuesday: "America really is two countries. Alot of Americans live in a progressive, European-style society...or they would like to...but the rednecks won't let it happen."

Yeah, even if Biden wipes the floor with her (which will only happen if everyone sees through Palin's emotional cliched "arguments"), people will just look at Biden as a big meanie, and conversely at Palin as a strong woman for standing up to abuse from another good ol' boy.

What really needs to happen is for Palin to make some big gaffe independent of Biden's arguments -- e.g. "You can see Russia from Alaska" -- for people to wonder how dumb she really is.

Unfortunately you can be sure that the republican fluffers will make sure she doesn't say THAT again.

people who are going to vote for mccain/palin don't care how dumb she is. all she has to do is promise to appoint anti-abortion judges, deny global warming, and continue the wars in the middle east.

True, but there are at least some undecided folks who's choice may hinge on whether they perceive Palin as a strong mother/female figure.
Remember that there was a lot of support for her after the RNC, but that has waned each time she opened her mouth.
