You actually did fix several of my suggestions before release, nice to be mentioned in the .txt file

The yellow respawn textures for the YA look nice, the ReGen with respawn texture as well. The ledge that is now wider (I think?) also helps that area of the map. The stairs near the LG (2nd image f)) now has a passage added under the stairs... definitely neat. Striped edge near pool looks like it had never been any different. Clipping seems to be OK for the most part.
Alas there is at least one sparklie edge left to complete perfection

Great job... looking forward to accompanying your next map project from the beginning.

Wow, never thought Q3 could look this good. What a bit of good level design and texture work can do with a 10 year old engine. Amazing.

Who's Mark? hehe
yeah..Foralarx commented to me on doing it on sumatra's review page. I would as it's an astounding map, but my computer doesn't like it all that much. I don't want to write up one of those.."The map was sluggish on my computer" kind of reviews...since I'm probably the one with the shitty computer. I dunno how it runs on new rigs? I have the map..and don't plan on getting rid of it..but I just haven't gotten any good gameplay on it, which is just as important as the visuals. I normally do like to stamp my name on the good maps reviews though...as for some strange reason I have a fanbase on my older map reviews.

yeah it runs at 125 fps stable...(com_maxfps 125) no flux on my new system... what are the specs like in the q3 comunity? i like the idea of pushing the tech... i mean, should i be building for 10 year old computers? if its gonna run like shit for most ppl... not really worth it trying to do this kinda stuff i guess. hmmmmm

beautiful. I was amazed at the amount of detail and thought people were just saying that.... but after downloading this and running through it I was blown away.
That being said, it made my computer struggle a bit.
Specs:
AMD 4200+ 64 bit dual core
Two 7300 GT Nvidia cards running SLi
2 gigs ram (dont remember specifics)
Running through one of the newer IOQ3 builds on lowest graphics settings across the board.
FPS hangs around 50-55 fps and drops to 30 ish in places. Saw a 20 at one point lol

I was pretty surprised as well. I'll investigate thuroughly soon to see if I had some hidden settings messing things up for me.
But there are some areas that appeared to be problem spots where almost the entire map got drawn (curvy YA hall, facing towards inner curve).

I've got constant 125 fps all over the map except the GL room. At this place fps drops down to 90.
ATI radeon X1900
Intel core duo E2200
2Gig RAM

Your map runs completely smooth on the system I used for testing q3dmp11, 125 FPS constant.
P43GHZ
1GBRAM
RadeonX580
Interestingly when I added some additional 500 MBRAM, some locations dropped down to ~90FPS.

By the way: Your map just has been downloaded more than 2000 times not too long ago. Congrats!

I used noclip back then to take a look behind that door

Even though the platform out there would have been a dead end, might have been cool to look at the "station" from the outside... only that would have probably killed the the FPS.
Back then looking for possibly
caulk-able brushes.
