Yup, playing Shadow Moses with the young Snake face on in MGS4 was amazing, wish the whole game was like that as the actual game was naff...Silicone_Milk wrote:I believe we're posting games we want to see remade with today's tech. Not 2003's.

Exactly. The MGS4 game, to me, tied things together nicely. I played it for the movies, not the actual gameplay this time though (which is extremely rare for me). MGS4 still was better than MGS2 and 3 for me. You have to admit, the Metal Gear battles near the end of the game kicked a ton of ass.o'dium wrote:Yup, playing Shadow Moses with the young Snake face on in MGS4 was amazing, wish the whole game was like that as the actual game was naff...Silicone_Milk wrote:I believe we're posting games we want to see remade with today's tech. Only game I can think of is Bruce Lee for the commodore 64.
Had so much fun and spent so much time on that, I'd like to see a remake a la Bionic Commando Rearmed.

Agreed Plan B. On the ZX Spectrum version, it was my first introduction to "Griefing" as a second player could play as the fat sumo and try to kill Bruce. Epic.
With your avatar in mind, the Spy vs. Spy games also desperately need a remake. They were awesome split-screen fun, and would be utterly fantastic with proper net multiplayer.

I wasn't even aware such games were made, Mat.Mat Linnett wrote:With your avatar in mind, the Spy vs. Spy games also desperately need a remake. They were awesome split-screen fun, and would be utterly fantastic with proper net multiplayer.
I only know Spy vs. Spy via reading Mad Magazine when I was a kid, but their iconic antagonism indeed prefectly lends itself for various video game concepts.
Gonna look into it with an emulator.

I am really trying to remember a game that I played probably about 15 years, maybe longer. It was a PC game.
It was a horror game based in a house and it was a first person shooter. I seem to recall it maybe having something to do with Clive Barker or another famous writer. I also seem to recall it being by a top game designer at the time, and the name Crowley rings a bell.
I would love to remember this game. It was brilliant and scary as fuck.

Pod would be a nice remake too I guess
Also, although it is quite recent - a GTA: Vice City remake in the GTA4 engine would be most welcome

Meneer MKJ is right. Vice could use an update, sure... just not with the GTA4 physics please.
