She's still a dumb fuck for posting a completely inappropriate video given the nature and timing of the subject even if it is in satire and deserves to have her cunt kicked.

I say a whole foot cunt kicking if serious, and a tentative big toe cunt kicking if trolling, because it worked so deliciously.

Seriously, it's surreal to see how devastating this thing is.
Especially for a country constantly aware of the phenomenon; the Japanese are highly prepared and constantly trained for earth quakes.
That will probably help pulling them through, but shit like this, you just can't adequately prepare for.
They predicted "the big one" to strike for a long time, although thought it would strike closer to Tokyo (see
this article from 2003).
Regarding the Fukushima nuclear power plant catastrophy:
I know Japan is a country without natural resources, so they rely on nuclear power, but what I *do* find puzzling is why they built
this particular plant practically on top of a fault line.

And right on the fucking beach.
Seriously, do they not consider tsunamis and earthquakes when they built this shit?

My understanding of what happened at the plant, while it was damaged by the quake, the meltdown wasn't a direct result. The backup cooling system was working for some time, and then failed, causing the meltdown. One article I read said the diesel generators ran out of fuel, another said they too were damaged by the quake causing the failure...
Regardless, it was a series of events that lead to the meltdown, not just poor placement of the plant.
Also, to my knowledge most nuclear power plants are built along shoreline. I believe in this one they even used seawater to try to flood the reactors to cool them down.

Yeah I'm sure a water source is a major factor when choosing a site. But can't they use lakes or rivers?

Reactors are usually built next to large, deep water supplies. Rivers and smaller lakes aren't deep or large enough.
The chain reaction in the fuel rods of a power plant is an ongoing process and requires constant cooling to prevent the fuel from melting and eventually from escaping the containment vessel. The primary cooling was damaged by the earthquake. The backup generators were damaged by the tsunami.
Due to lowered coolant levels the fuel rods may have been exposed, causing a build up of hydrogen gas within the vessel. To ease pressure, they released some of the hydrogen knowing that it was possible that it would cause an explosion. This is what caused the explosions on the roof of the buildings, though it is believed that the explosion did not damage the containment vessel. So it's a constant issue of monitoring temperature levels and trying to cool the reactor as much as possible to prevent the melting fuel rods from working its way out of the containment vessel.
At this point, the reactor is no longer salvageable, but they are trying to lower temperatures in hopes that they can in the future properly dispose of the reactor safely. If there is a meltdown, they'll have to seal the vessel with concrete and they won't be able to safely dismantle the reactor, such as the case with Three Mile Island. Latest reports say that there may be minor damage to the #2 containment vessel.

that little chuck of laughter at the very beginning of the video you posted, gave it away for me. Over all the bitch was a little too blissfully euphoric to take seriously. Or who knows, no matter how low expectations I have of people, my faith in them seems to be a little more optimistic than yours

so even after hearing pat robertson calling the haiti earthquake god's vengeance for their pact with satan, or a load of ameritards on fagsbook tagging the tsunami as god's payback for pearl harbor, you find it hard to believe there can be people as dumb as this in the world?
fascinating

not hard to believe, just a bit more skeptical. I was trying to be subtle with my reply, but honestly this chick was obviously trolling. How the fuck could you miss it? ...letting your own hubris mislead you so much.

first i'm like whoa, it's like cars and vans weigh nothing, then the buildings shake, keel over and something like an entire fucking convenience store just floats on past

This, and also look how fast the water rises. The piece of land the filmer is standing on is probably 6 or 8 feet deep under water in five minutes. That's some scary shit

because rivers are immune to earthquakes?
btw they did try flooding the place with seawater but that didnt quite work :/
