("western front" and "eastern front" may be a bit simplistic, but at some point you've got to generalise and categorise to wrap your head around shit.)

Then there's the suspicion of Pakistan protecting bin laden's hide out (and Lieberman demanding Pakistan prove they didn't know; how the fuck do you prove you didn't know something?) and Obama electorally benefitting.

Ok, so it turns out OBL was not armed when they busted into his room. His wife rushes the Seals, they put one in her leg, then they shot OBL in the head and chest. The white house claims the decision to kill him instead of capture was made by the Seals at the time of the raid.

So here's my thoughts. I would be willing to bet that these badass Seals had a huddle before the this went down and they said to each other "If we take him in alive, it will be years of legal battles and all that bullshit before we execute him. So let's just make a pact now that we take him out the first chance we get and end this once and for all..."

That's what I woulda said anyways. I have a feeling the Seals probably felt the same way...

They probably just wanted to murder Osama Bin Laden.
