As long as you haven't tied it to your account I guess you can just give it to someone else. After that, I reckon you're out of luck.

Oh I dunno. Did you ever received a separate key that grants you access to the next beta? I guess not, right? Perhaps because you pre-purchased it you automatically gain access to the betas.

I preloaded the whole thing but when I click "Log in" I get an "unspecified error: 9". Is this because there is no beta period right now or will I get that error next weekend as well?

Aye, been on and off since 5AM BST. Got most of my characters done, but still one left to go. All of the good names have gone too. To be honest, they should have done names on a per server rather than global basis.

which could cause problems if people switch servers or "guest" on another server. Having said that, I still think it's sort of dumb to force names to be unique.
