I think there's a lot of truth to the message, look at the way whites and blacks doing the same things during the aftermath of Katrina were shown to be "surviving" and "looting", respectively. There's also the fact that, historically, white people are the ones that pull this sort of thing and they're indeed crazy as shit.

I totally agree. However, I think this kind of counter-acts the point in the image above. I honestly can't recall a non-white commiting a massacre in recent history on American soil. The closest thing I can come up with is the D.C. snipers, which was more of a spree killing. I don't recall how the media labeled them. Due to the time between the first attack and their capture, maybe they had been forced to focus on things other than their race.

Yes, blacks get called gang members when they're not. Yes, a Muslim would have almost certainly been called a terrorist. I don't agree on the Latino thing, but whatever. I'm not arguing those stereotypes aren't made.

I'm just saying no "minority" has committed an act like this so the comparison can't really be made. If this exact situation had played out at the hand of a black or latino I do think they still would have referred to him as "disturbed" or a "psychopath" rather than leaping to racial stereotypes. Again, I'm only talking about a situation like this. If it had been a single murder, maybe then the comparison could be made. The Muslim example is the only one I may agree with. America really does hate Muslims these days.

I don't know why whites end up being the ones who pull this shit. It is intriguing.

In addition, this is most certainly a 1st world issue is it not? when was the last time something like this happened any place where they have to content with real actual problems?
It's almost like these peeps go off the deep end when they have everything at their fingertips and they can't understand why their life still sucks balls.

Or rather, the promise of everything. Expecting a better life because he graduated college. They have talked about how he (I think) dropped out of his masters program, had trouble finding or holding down a job. Maybe he snapped because his life wasn't going the way he believed he "deserved" or whatever.

Still, it doesn't explain why guys like this have to take out a dozen strangers instead of just themself.

3rd world countries are too busy fighting for their lives in a different way. Starvation or being brutalised by gang members (Africa). Also given this lack of money they don't really have the spare cash to splash out on gns and ammo.

This has all the signs of Fast & Furious, Episode II. I wouldn't be surprised to discover someone in Washington was behind it all. After all, there's no quicker way to disarm a nation and take total control over the population than to stage violence, blame it on firearms, then call for leaders to "do something!" Such calls inevitably end up resulting in gun confiscation, and it's never too long after that before government genocide really kicks in like we saw with Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, Mao and other tyrants.

But gun violence in less privileged countries always seemed to have a point. They'll kill for religious, racial, politica , economical reasons. And more often the case being money, their crimes have reasons you can take to the bank...literally. Not just some over privileged fucker off his rocker.
