What's the big issue with proving Kracus has a GTI anyway? It's not as though he's saying he owns a Porsche.. They're pretty common cars in the EU anyway .

I looked into switching to a Golf GTI or BMW 325i but then realised both would cost me about £1600/year more in petrol; and I'd need to invest in winter tyres for the BMW. Maybe I'm better off with a Golf GTD 170 or a 320D/330D.

Decisions :(.

Btw I like your Volvo wagon! Quite a bit actually. What year is it? Gonna check if they sell them here.
Sorry dude. I know nothing about Lancers! I'd probably try to hit you off the road :D
My V60 is the 2014 model. New nose, that's about it.
Hit me off the road? LOL! It's an Evo BTW, around 420hp :paranoid:

I've looked into the V60 hybrid, looks like they're coming to Canada. Gonna pay attention to them, since I'm looking for something more practical now. My rear seats don't fold

Where's andyman? I think he had a very quick Mustang GT.

I really like how the body lines ride right into the taillights on those years though..

I don't like the new trend of sedans having higher back ends like a Prius.

tell me your joking dan! vw and audi are the height of deushbaggery!

around here anyways

in europe they seem to be just everyday wagons for the image/spec conscious soccer moms/average family types
it is about time!

Stock Evo X is 4.5s, I guess mine is faster since it has around 40% more HP.

BTW, from the video, 60 to 160 km/h in about 7.5s if that means anything

People posting pictures and discussing their cars. Kracus, the guy who expects us to believe he owns a car that he's not sure which model it is, is nowhere to be seen. What a surprise. :olo:

We don't get many infiniti's in Europe. I like the look, but the fuel average isn't great for a hybrid.
I"m getting 4,4 l/100 km atm, many electrical miles of course. I'd be driving 6 l/ 100 km with only the diesel engine.
That's amazing man. I get 15L/100km in city, and that's on a good day.

Honestly, after owning a "high performance sedan", all I can say is that it's fun and all, but in the end I'd rather have a car that can pass the "box test". If I go to Staples to get a new desk chair, I need to take it out of the box and hope for the best. Also, I bent a rim at some point in the past two years (Montreal has a lot of potholes) and that's' a bit of a pain to be honest.

I'm seriously looking for a body-on-frame SUV right now (something like a 4Runner), but I might go and try out some wagons like your V60. It might be a good compromise between a quick-ish car and something that is actually practical. Honestly, as good as the Evo is, it's not that great as a daily driver. I'd much rather have a roomy daily plus a high performance sports car (like a Nissan GT-R ), but that's a long time away.

Wow, that's a lot of fuel consumption. With a performance car like an EVO it's easy to put your pedal to the metal. I find it hard to drive slowly with my V60, with a slight footpress I hit the 100 mph on the highway in seconds to overcome other cars. My mate who has an Audi S5 (5,4 secs 60 mph) also gets 15l/100km or 11l/km on good days.

If you want performance and space, I'd look for a V60 or an Audi (R)S4/(R)S6 avant. Maybe a BMW 550d xsdrive.
SUV's always have problems corners.

15L/100km is being light on the pedal LOL! Oh well, it is what it is.

RS4/RS6 and 550d are sick cars, but quite a bit over my budget :)

V60 Plug-in-hybrid wasn't cheap either :paranoid: - I paid 111k CAD for my version (I'll be receiving a lot of tax exemptions this year)

You live in Europe though, you guys have crazy prices for cars. The top 2014 S60 is $45,700 USD, the hybrid could be a lot more though.

I know, but you pay a premium price for the hybrid. Also, it only comes in a luxury Summum version.

I'm not sure if Volvo's interested in re-introducing stations to the States and Canada. It's a form that's mostly popular in Europe while you love the SUV's and pickups.

Nice photo but I wish you placed the car to the right of the photo rather than the left :(.
