One reason has to do with Gerrymandering (sp?) I think a lot of locations in the US, gerrymandering is legal. If you've never looked it up, I suggest you do, you'll get a better explanation of what it is but the TL DR is that it's basically cheating and is illegal in most countries.

So, what's happening with the Senate and Congress? Our only hope is that at least one is controlled by the Democrats.

Yeah it is fuct. But what's crazier is how divided the country is. It's damn near straight down the middle. What are the odds? 120 million people vote, and what was it, around 100,000 difference? Insane...
