President Trump
Re: President Trump
If she gets indicted, it will be after the primaries, once she has the nomination. Because politics.

Re: President Trump
He now wants to raise minimum wage and raise taxes on rich and get rid of their loop holes. Lol conservatives are getting owned hard...
...

Re: President Trump
I've seen him take off the MAGA hat and also a coal miner's hard hat, and that hair just stays right where it's at. It's really quite remarkable...
Re: President Trump
She says 'we' and he says 'I', too. Jumpcut supercompilations are a bit like CoD kill compilations, any noob can pick out the good bits and make a compelling video.
That being said, she still says 'I' way too much for someone who's supposed to support all of us.

Re: President Trump
that's because she doesn't support all of you
she's neoliberal weenie shill who gets off on power

Re: President Trump
Oh yeah that's exactly what you should do: have your vote for the next president of the USA depend solely on the number of times he or she used the word "I" instead of "we", or vice versa.

Re: President Trump
Just sent a letter to good old Queenie. If Trump gets into power we're retaking our former colonies.

you and the point are on different trains heading in opposite directions, as so oftenEraser wrote:Oh yeah that's exactly what you should do: have your vote for the next president of the USA depend solely on the number of times he or she used the word "I" instead of "we", or vice versa.
the point the video is making is that Clinton is all about herself and her ambitions, but Bernie is about something bigger than himself

A valid point, but boiled down in typical American fashion to nanosecond sound-bytes.seremtan wrote:

It was clear to me what point the video is trying to make, but without context, without the bigger picture, an edit like this is meaningless. Simply put, the fact that someone uses the word "we" rather than "I" does not automatically mean he's the better president.
It's an extremely simplified view on the state of things. It's extremely over-simplified up to the point of being unverifiable and possibly being wrong. And this is in fact the cancer that's spreading throughout the entire US presidential election. YouTube videos like these are doing more in opinion forming than the actual subject matter these politicians talk about. No one is asking the important questions and instead people are watching easily digestible, mostly biased, YouTube videos to let other people form their opinion for them.
So, seremtan, which train are you on and what direction is it heading in? Are there many other sheep on it?
Re: President Trump
are they really getting all their information from Youtube videos? really? and what are - from your elevated godlike position - the "important questions"?
Re: President Trump
I'm not saying that. But you cannot deny a trend of oversimplification when it comes to elections. The US isn't unique in this, but certainly in a trendsetting position.
If this weren't true, someone like Trump would never become as popular as he is. It's not his well thought out plans and policies for the next 4 years that's winning him votes. It's his oversimplification of a number of hot topics and delivering these non-solutions wrapped in a form factor that appeals to a broad selection of the voting populace.
Now this "I vs We" video might've been meant to be taken in a tongue-in-cheek way, but I wouldn't be surprised if many people take this and use it to reinforce the second-hand opinion they have committed to. For all I know, Hillary Clinton might've said very sensible things while Bernie Sanders may as well have been spewing bullshit. Maybe, even, Sanders said I just as many times but they left that out. Most people won't bother to find out though. You already see it in this thread, with people confirming that, yeah indeed, she does say I a whole lot. Maybe that's just a habitual thing and doesn't reflect her political ideas at all.
Now, I have to say that I don't want this whole thing hung up on just a single video and yeah, OK, when taken with a grain of salt the video paints an amusing picture but I was asked to explain myself, so here you go.

Re: President Trump
Oh, by the way, you're keen on attacking me personally on how I have no idea what stuff is about. You're making cheap shots at my persona to try and invalidate things I write, no matter how contextually relevant they are. You must appreciate the irony in that, considering the subject matter.
