Orphan - 3/10
Bores you to death taking forever to do uncreative predictable shit. watch it high on HBO at 2am next summer.
The Final Destination - 5/10
Haven't seen any of the previous movies, but this one was a pretty average popcorn horror movie. A bunch of pretty people run around and get killed in comical Rube Goldberg style. Got points for giving me "dead like me" flashbacks.
The Goods - 6/10
Entertaining, but not one you want to own forever on DVD. Certainly well executed and has enough funny moments.

always knew it was excellent, just never seen it before.
very high production value, all kinds of awesome.
some cliches tho, like how the battles always end with the germans fleeing in a blind panic whilst getting shot in the back, and none of them ever survives.
srsly.. it seems like the germans always flee and the yanks always press on. :[
lol, apparently you've not gotten to the Battle of the Bulge episodes yet.
Adventureland - 6/10 Not bad overall, good rental. Not Superbad sort of funny, but funny nonetheless. Bill Hader cracks me up.

I just have actually. apart from the yanks really getting fucked, the germans are again portrayed as a chaos of infantry running around like insects and a few sneaky krauts in good positions getting some lucky shots.
maybe they really were tho, i mean they did lose the war they started amirite

It's a well-known fact that ze Germans drink the blood of American babies. It's their form of bitter payback after running and hiding back in dubya dubya two.

maybe it depends on the year of the war? at some point i think they were throwing out less trained soldiers.

Terminator Salvation - 5/10 Decent action scenes, some horribly stupid points (Bale ripping wires out a machine to jumpstart the infiltrator's heart, jesus), but I'm sick and tired of Bale's "I speak in a loud, hoarse voice so you can tell I'm a badass" bit. Fuck's sake, it got old when Kurt Russell did it as Snake Plissken in Escape From New York.

I think it's fairly accurate, given how much input they had from the men that were there. And in all honesty, the Germans didn't really have much to offer in the way of crack troops by the time the Allies invaded and it just went downhill from there.

16 years of alcohol 8/10
The guy who played Tommy in trainspotting plays a Scottish kid who grows up in a family of drinkers. ( redundant?)... becomes a hard man skinhead,
or more like Alex from clockwork orange..... Then meets a girl in a record shop who defiantly plays velvet underground songs than be intimidated by him and his mob ( Droogies) into playing Desmond Dekker. He then spends the rest of the film wrestling with his heritage of alcoholism and trying not to be a skinhead/hardman as his world of being a skinhead and coming from a family of drunks revisits him over again..
The film is mostly his narration. which I quite liked. Its a good film. I'll definitely watch it again.

State of Play: 6/10. Pudgy Crowe is pudgy. Decent and topical but nothing we haven't seen 1,000 times before.

Wanted - 7/10 - a movie saved from utter failure by being directed by timur bekmambetov, he of nightwatch/daywatch fame. oh, and there's a Wanted 2 in the works, and angelina jolie will be in it, somehow...

G.I.Joe. 6/10.
I only went to see it for the free large popcorn and drink. I had set my expectations low... 3/10 low... and was surprised that I actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
Lines were a little cheesy, but there wasn't much dialog to begin with. Special effects were decent and the overall look of the movie did remind me of the cartoon. The movie was surprisingly violent. I remember in the cartoon, lasers would always miss hitting people and people would jump out of vehicles just before blowing up. Nope... people get stabbed and gutted in this movie. Storm Shadow vs. Snake Eyes was pretty bad ass.

The only Tarantino movie I haven't really liked.
