eeeh its ok. Tarantino tries his hand at a Guy Ritchie-esque flick, somewhat succeeds. Brad Pitt's mannerisms are excellent, and the German Colonel is fucking intimidating.
for the one who didnt expect the ending; u a moran?..

Mr Brooks - 7/10
Enjoyable flick, I loved the hunger that speaks to Mr Brooks, ace part to be honest.
*spoiler* All in all a good film with some room for a part 2 with the daughter...

Drag Me To Hell = 6/10 - Typical Raimi approach and - like the Evil Dead movies - absolutely hilarious in parts.
Entertaining but I probably wouldn't watch it again.

Pretty damn good actually. I dug the gritty documentary style of the whole thing and it had a good solid plot.

Team America - bored/10 - imho this is easily the worst Parker/Stone project. it would've been hilarious as a short or even a series i guess, but just didn't seem to work as a feature. i fell asleep at least three times before the funny finally started in the last 20min or so.

District 9. 8/10
Pretty damn good. I wish they used the gravity gun and the Mech/ bio suit more. Or at least the way they were used in the original short film:

State of Play - 4/10 "OOOOH! Blackwater Security is bad!" Boring for the most part, too contrived, poor job of having Crowe compromise his journalistic integrity, and the "twist" was pathetic. I like the cast, but it just fizzled.

Watched district9 yesterday. 7,5/10.
I Agree with ryoki about the docu style, that was pretty nice.
The weapons, the gibbing, i liked it all.
Plot was ok, imo.

Just saw "Touching the Void" as recommended in another thread.
Very impressive. And inspiring.
I mean, although these guys unnessecarily, and stupidly, put themselves in danger, I couldn't help associate with them, and have respect for their determination.

Sleep Dealer 8/10
A Mexican Cyber punk thriller.. A future where militarized corporations control the worlds water supply. Corporations also have huge warehouses in Tijuana called Sleepdealers where Mexicans with "nodes" implanted into there bodies plug into a network where they remote control robots s all around the world doing menial manual labor. It's the story of a menial worker who comes to Tijuana to get his nodes and control welding robot, a corporate soldier who controls a fighter craft and a writer who sells her memories on the net and how there lives become entwined.
Quiet a good film.

The Howling 9/10
Still one of the top 3 werewolf movies ever.
I'd say the list of top three is:
1. American werewolf in London.
2. The Howling.
3. Dog Soldiers.
The new one coming out with Benicio Del Toro looks pretty good:
