The last movie you saw
Re: The last movie you saw
Nemesis was ok too. It wasn't 'that' bad. But yeah, First Contact and The Wrath of Khan were the only good ones.

How To Rob A Bank = 6/10 - A low-budget flick with some truly horrible acting but the story is ok.

Moon 8/10
Really well done flick about a man's final 3 weeks of a 3 year contract working solo on a gas mining station on the moon. I can't really go into detail without ruining the plot of the film... Its really cool to watch it all unfold. Definitely Sam Rockwells best film

A lot of people would say it's a bad idea, on your first day out of prison, to go right back to stalking the tranny hooker that knocked out five of your teeth. But that's how I roll..

The Kung Fu Flid. 6/10
Fucking hilarious...awful acting, ( Fuckign terrible acting... the only "real" actor is the guy from football factories.) cheese ball effects.
But just watching that dude with flipper arms kick ass is fucking awesome.
Shit film.. but fucking hilarious.. Worth seeing once.

Slumdog Millionaire 7/10
Nice watch but I don't get the big deal. The narrative and plot points were obvious from 10 min in.

Zombieland 7/10
Bit slow in some scenes but still funny. Basically it's a road movie with zombies
Cocaine Cowboys 2, 8/10
More of a documentary than a film but holy fuck, what an amazing story. You get dragged in in the first five minutes and then it's a roller coaster ride of craziness right up to the end. Can't recommend enough, really... go see

I couldn't agree with you more. Wanna fuck?GONNAFISTYA wrote:First Contact was the only movie with the TNG cast that was worth watching. The rest were utter garbage...especially "Generations".

Paranormal Activity - 4/10
It was about as scary as holding in a fart during a business meeting. I liked that they were true to the amateur video idea and didn't roll pre or post credits at all. I thought the acting worked well but probably just because they were playing themselves. The special effects were pulled off very well. But the story was incredibly weak and I honestly didn't really find any attachment to the characters well being. I wanted the guy to get fucked up because he was a douche and all I could really focus on most scenes was how epic her tits were.
Sphere - 6/10
The movie itself wasn't that amazing but I'm a sucker for psychological thrillers with a sci/fi theme. I think the book probably would have been more enjoyable.

Cocaine Cowboys 7/10
Apparently i saw the first last and the last first... but no matter. Story is similar but different: part 1 does a general history of the '80's Miami cocaine wars thing and part 2 tells the Gabriella Blanco story from the perspective of her former lover and business associate. The cast is mostly the same deranged bunch of killers, cops and wholesale dealers as in part deux.
For some reason i liked part deux better, i think it was because of the main story teller in that one. He's like Bernie Mac's long lost evil twin, very articulate and charismatic and above all, a verrry smart cookie
