I'm a game nerd, Spazda is a ninja and LawL fucks midgets. Your job can't be worse than any of those.
I wouldn't mind being a game developer. I may even envy that a bit. However being a ninja and fucking midgets is a bit embarrassing.
But really, I don't remember the last time I had a comment from Mazda that wasn't derogatory. So why should I give him a serious answer? I'm not Peenduh. I don't take the bait...

Oh and there is 33% off RAGE on Steam at the moment. The game has been out for less than a month and already discounted. I guess it failed, hard.
Dude, you an pick Deus Ex Human Revolution up for £11.99 now...thats 2 1/2 months before it is basically a bargain bin price. You could get it for £25 after 3 weeks.
It is the way most games are going, except COD:MW3 will stay at £40 for 6 months

From retail, sure. That's just the nature of boxed copies for any game. You won't get DX:HR for that price on steam just yet. It has also sold over 2.2 million copies now, which isn't bad at all for what is essentially a new ip for many people (and not really a mainstream game)
RAGE should have done a lot, lot better. It can be seen as nothing more than a failure, much like xer0s job prospects due to his quake3world addiction.

Actually, according to VGCharts it sold 1.6 million copies so far and it has been out for 10 weeks. It did 1.2 million copies in the first 5 weeks, which is just about how long Rage has been out now. So it seems to me that both games are doing equally well. And Rage is new IP as well and not exactly mainstream either.
edit:
these are the number for Deus Ex: HR
first 5 weeks:
PC 154,607
PS3 461,181
XBox 653,010
1,268,798
lifetime (little over 10 weeks):
PC 198,862
PS3 606,949
Xbox 804,949
1,610,644
Deus ex is doing relatively poorly on PC as well. Guess that's the burden of the platform.

"Moved", as in shipped to distributors. Not sold.
Besides, we're talking about a game that has been out for 10+ weeks while rage is not even 5 weeks out yet.
Ok have it your way whatever.
Rage still has more than 5 weeks to creep closer to Deus Ex sales numbers. It probably won't get up to 2.2 million, but who knows how far it'll get.
Also, Doom 3, id Software's most succesful title to date has sold 3.5 million and that was based on one of the most well known franchises in gaming history. Getting 1.2 million sales out of a completely new IP in 5 weeks time probably isn't too shabby then.
Last but not least, if VGCharts is off by 600,000 units for Deus Ex, then there may be a few hundred thousand additional units of Rage somewhere out there.
If you're looking for a new wallpaper, try this one

Oh wait no, Rage is far too ugly a game to be worthy of any wallpaper.
Well that blows my theory outta the water; just didnt seem as busy at midnight when I got mine from a local store. Black Ops there were 200 people there, this time about 70...
Prolly, cuz they all preordered it online and saved themselves a queuing up in a waiting line in shitty British weather
edit:
To clarify: these people were sleeping in their warm, soft beds while you were standing out there in the midnight cold waiting for some chav to open up the videogame store's front doors.
Yeah, I ordered mine online, I'm past the days of midnight launches now I think... But then, I ordered it the night before and it came by 10am, so it wasn't exactly a heart break long wait was it. If it took a week+ to get here, then it would be different...
