It turns out my ping is only 100 while playing on EU servers. I may be playing on -8 GMT, but I am awake at odd hours. Add me, bitches.

noise cancelling headphones over a separate amp, no mic.
I'll figure something out. Worst case I just gotta play the game sound over the speakers like some plebian.

Also gotta get myself placed.. we couldn't join competitive because I only played 2 matches this season :i

You guys playing on xbox or PC? I played some last night, killing it with Bastion. Had a whole team that seemed to build themselves around me as bastion (something I've never experienced before) and it was glorious.

Most of us are on PC. I think I saw someone mention playing on Xbox but I don't remember who it was.

How soon are patches applied on Xbox? Don't they have to go through rigorous validation by Microsoft first?

Nope, though that's a good point. Not sure what kind of deal they struck or what changes in the process but patches are live the same day as the PC versions - see new Heroes and Events. Obviously there's no PTR.

Same applies to Diablo.

Ah okay that's pretty good then.
Was wondering if your D'va still died from using her ult :smirk:

lol I remember those days... honestly I wish they'd bring the old DVA back. Despite being able to blow herself up she was also able to cancel her charge so you'd get right in peoples face then charge them whenever you could to get a little extra damage and bump them around. it was fantastic. I stopped playing her when they nerfed her.

I finished my placements last night, and did better this time around than all the other seasons; won 7 and lost 3. Still only placed around 2100. :miffed:

You can still cancel her boost ability, no?

Yeah I don't get that... I was in the same boat and got the same rank. My friend that comes over to play won 3 matches, Draw 1 match and the rest were losses and he got 2100...

I don't believe so.

There's a minimum distance then because it doesn't work like it did originally.

God, i still suck at this, as evidenced in last night's games with the Donster - i had no idea what was going on half the time :olo:

How the teamplay works exactly mostly eludes me still i guess, though in one of the games there was at least a 15 second moment where it seemed like i wasn't fucking up completely with D.VA... so there's hope yet. Also, i take wrong turns on maps with alarming regularity :)

Question; i saw someone use their D.VA ult in a rather interesting way; jumped out of the mech and started blasting fools, a split second later the empty mech boosted into our group and exploded. How in the name of baby jesus? Q, then very rapidly shift or something?

Shift before you Ult brah
Also aim upwards if you can for maximum damage

Best try stuff like that out on the test map. We can talk through more later if you want to play a few games?

Ah, i see... Should be able to do a few rounds, around the same time as yesterday man

And aiming upwards seems like a fine idea indeed - wonder why i haven't seen anyone do that yet.

Likely because you'll be mostly playing with people who are also quite new? Takes a little while to learn these things and to pick up tips off other players
