This is awesome. Still haven't got mine.

Did you buy a kit? Or was it all bought piece by piece?

It has gps, barometer, magnetometer and accelerometer.

I built the frame by hand with a dremel using carbon fiber sheets and tubes. I bought all the components from about a dozen sources. It flew well beyond my expectations and stayed in the air way longer then I imagined. I only used 1/3 of the batteries this thing can carry and it stayed in the air for 16 minutes.

That's a really cool DIY project. Lots of time consuming detailed work I'm sure. I know the video was one of the first times you flew it and something like that probably takes some time to get use to. But it does more than hover back and forth, right?

Holy shit. 16 minutes on a third of your battery capabilities? That's extremely good. Most high end drones can only stay in the air 10-15 minutes with full battery capacity. Well done sir...

You're getting good battery performance, that's great. From watching your video it looked like the drone was having stabilization issues with abrupt movements and you were really taking it easy. I don't know your level of experience with flying (I assume you have experience because you've built this extravagant craft), the purpose/capabilities of the craft or if that factors into how you were flying in the video. But that's why I asked about what the craft can do.

Fatnis has clearly had his feeling hurt and is desperately trying to derail this thread in retaliation.

Fuck off to your nerdy 8-bit thread that no one care about.

Ohhhhhh, I finally get it. Gramps took the last two letters in Memphis and added Fatn to it. Haha, that's really clever...

That was the first time I ever flew a drone. The excessive wobble at one point was me messing around with yaw, I was having some fun.

Cool toy axbaby. Any details on maximum height? Fix a camera to it and take it for a spin yet?

I figured you were trying to get use to it... I'm also interested in your expectations of this drone. Maneuverability, max elevation, range of operation, etc. Very cool though.
