My Octocopter should fly the same as the K130.The frame size and hardware are virtually identical to the Kraken K130 and in fact I used many of the same components.

Foxtech K130 links

I am using the K130 Foxtech motors, Foxtech 60A esc's and same prop size 18"X6.1.

I just built my frame lighter and eliminated weight wherever I could.

Once I have some design flaws eliminated such has the landing gear not being wide enough I plan to mount a magnetometer, 3D Imagers, hyperspectral cameras and whatever else the future holds for mineral exploration.

Which is a stroke of luck, really, because you couldn't afford a penny more.

I built the frame by hand with a dremel using carbon fiber sheets and tubes. I bought all the components from about a dozen sources. It flew well beyond my expectations and stayed in the air way longer then I imagined. I only used 1/3 of the batteries this thing can carry and it stayed in the air for 16 minutes.
Very Happy
You've designed and built a machine that flies through the air. That's like 0.001% of humans who've ever existed. Fucking awesome.

That glides and has no controls. It doesn't fly and can't be flown.

Stop trying to downgrade other people's achievements.

you're claiming 1 million people have designed AND built a machine that flies through the air?

gonna need some citation for that

I'm not downgrading his achievement which is amazing, I'm criticizing your statistical musings. Also it's a joke.

0.001% of all people that currently live is 7,000,000 people and sys0p said of all people that ever lived. I meant he'd need to take 1 billionth of his number and then he'd probably be closer to what he was trying to say.
But don't take the math too literally, jeez, I was just trying to make a tongue in cheek point.

0.001% of 7,000,000,000 is 70000, right?

Hmm, I dunno broski, it felt like one of your usual attempts to tacitly point out how brilliant and knowledgable you are.
