Spoiler? Or would it not affect a virgin viewing of this film?

Nah, i feel i phrased that quite spoiler-free. The fact that something big is coming is clear from the very start... but i shall not say what it is exactly!

Shame 6/10
About a sex addict that is struggling with personal relationships with people. It didn't really work though. Fassbinder is a really good actor and it clearly wasn't his fault the whole thing fell a bit flat, i blame the director for making certain choices.
On a sidenote, I've never really understood sex addiction to be a problem in the sense that a substance or a gambling addiction is a problem. These people often work hard at their fake jobs and tans because it really helps to have this aura of successfulness if you're going to sleep with a lot of people. Seems like one of the better addictions to have to be honest, it's hardly destructive...

The Neverending Story 8/10
Watch this for the nostalgia. Great memories of this flick.

Hanna - 4/10 - honestly, it's a shitty movie. there's barely a plot and some highly questionable acting and a pitifully fake southern accent from Cate Blanchett. about 50% of the movie devolves into Chemical Brothers videos of the girl running around. if you want a little girl flipping out like a ninja, just watch Kick-Ass again.

i realise its a cliche to say that the book is better, but it really is.
the movie only covers the first three chapters or so and completely ignores the themes of the book.
for instance, you'd never know why the story is considered "neverending" from watching the movie.
what im saying is, read the book. it's awesome.

I'm sure the book is great, but from the movie I think I can assume it is a neverending story because the human imagination is neverending...

hint: you're wrong
@menkent, true it starts a bit slow. what I like about it is that it starts out as some kid's fantasy coming true but quickly spirals into a story about heroes corrupted by power, depression and even suicidal tendencies.
not bad for something disguised as a children's book

He even made a thread on IMDB after Moon came out, thanking everyone for watching it.
Source Code is pretty good too, though it should have ended on that freeze frame. Those who have seen it will know what i'm talking about.
Yes, I think everyone thought the same thing. I definitely did.

Entertaining for a FPS game player I suppose.
IMDB
Enjoyable for me and enough then 8/10

Indeed whiskey, your scale is a bit off.
Goes from 1 to 10. Not 1 to 100.

For the last movie I watched:
Zombie Apocalypse
3/10
Let's just say you suddenly appreciate The Walking Dead a lot more in every aspect, after watching this shit.
I only give it 2 more points because of poor Ving Rhames. Get your shit together dude

i'm over the whole "zombie apocalypse" trope since i've started to meet people who ACTUALLY THINK IT WILL HAPPEN IN THE REAL WORLD. and I'm not just talking about fuckwit survivalists on Discovery's "Doomsday Bunkers" tv show. i mean fairly normal alltags-idiots.

Yes in consideration and hindsight (a wonderful thing) I will re rate and I don't do this often to a 5-/10

the brood 8/10
cronenberg's most solid and straight up sci-fi horror, fucking brilliant.
tintin 4/10
fun but sterile, and the animation is a little creepy.
the hidden 7/10
showing its age but still a great action/sci-fi movie. worth a watch if only for the awesome intro and a young claudia christian.

Doom is in many ways the opposite of War of the Worlds. where the latter appears to have all the ingredients of a good action/sci-fi movie, it somehow fails, and it isn't entirely clear why. conversely, Doom is a movie that should fail in every department (the Rock, stupid premise, recycled space marine ensemble-but-not-nearly-as-good-as-aliens, script cliches "gametime!", underemployed Dexter Fletcher, etc etc), and yet is strangely watchable in spite of itself
but no, lol no, not 8/10. i'd give it a 3, and most of that goes to the weirdo with the tequila and she-boys

Green Lantern - 3 / 10
Never liked the comics to begin with (green lantern's imagination sucks... he can make anything he can think of and he makes metal shields, guns, and big fists).
The film felt rush though. Acting sucked. There wasn't much explanation about anything just that "these dudes watch over the universe. There's one dude who's yellow and angry. He needs to die."
One part that irritated me was when some fish guy was about to explain where he's from and Hal knew everything about fish-man's world already because the ring grants him stupid amounts of knowledge. Yet he didnt know who the creators of the ring, sitting on some chairs near him, were. I get they had to do that so the audience not familiar with the comics could get an explanation but still. That was stupid.

Suitably bizarre, nicely shot, fucked up subject matter and elena anaya is an instant boner-inducer.
Just watched this. I really really liked it, suitably fucked up but not in an overly pretentious way. Really good performances and a nice fresh idea. I loved the Louise Bourgeois references throughout. I'd up that to 8/10
