Rebooting

I get this thing where after the computer has been on for a while, and I do leave it on 24/7, it doesn't shutdown when I press restart. A few pages or programs will close, but it hangs. So I have to press the reset button. Then when it reboots and is back in windows, nothing happens when I click on my computer, IE, or a few other things. Still can't reboot properly and so after 2 or 3 more resets it reboots and everything is fine again. What is that all about?

Yeah well sometimes I have to really because things generally feel slow after running games, downloading and browsing for a while.

Try downloading the "EndItAll 2" program. Use google.

Likewise and the same goes for all of my corporate workstations.

That was true 5 years ago. It is not true today.

Drum - Try having a cleanout of all your programs that you don't use. Especially ones that have taskbar items (like RealPlayer).

After that run a full spyware and antivirus scan.

The only other solutions I can think of involve more in-depth messing about.
