Oh, there are some vids of Quake 4 MP and SP below, dunno if those are new too, but the MP one is a mixed bag... It feels so much slower? Rockets can be out run i'm sure
But not to shabby. It "IS" Quake 3 in a new shell. So hopefully once we get to play it, it will become faster with the jumping and shit.

Just wanted to post these as some people wanted better quality MP movies... This is a direct feed in high res, the closest thing to playing it.

Lies, or a mistake.
It does say insane quality, but its not
Thats one thing i didn't like about these new movies, they were reecord in low res. Usually when you make a movie, you record at high res and then resize down for the download. That way, you get no jaggies, and textures and stuff still appear sharpish.
The videos make it look like its running medium 64x480
I really wanted to see how nice in looked in motion.

I can't remember if it's been asked, but is the networking going to be better than it was for doom3 MP so that people won't have a problem connecting as easily to Q4 as they do/did for Q3?

Doom 3 netcode has been ripped out and replaced with a new one for Quake 4. It also has many, many tweaks like old hit boxes are back instead of per poly (which hurt a lot).
Still not sure about demo's, every time somebody asks them they never reply...
