Ok so a few dont believe and a few do so now lets get the story going.
A long time ago there was a game called Quake. I was there and Thresh had just won the tourney even though I beat him several times online (still to this day it is unknown if that was the true Thresh...an unsolved mystery).
In Quake 2 I was there heavily in the game community. I was in Clan [77] and I led the Offense squad known as the Lord of the reckoning. Bam Bam was our leader (u still out there Bam if so YO!). We defeated many clans in LMCTF and then time passed. Quake 3 was born and I'm sorry if this offends people but Q3 was not that good of a game. The Legions of Thane were there but the community was scattered.
Many games came and went, Tribes, CS, etc.. but the Glory of 1v1 deathmatch was very diminished. Everything was about Team games and the Glory of a Solo warrior before the eyes of the world would have to wait. Doom3 was a failure at DM.
Now we are here at Quake 4 on the horizion. The bones of my enemies are stirring. Many are gathering their rusty weapons and armor and preparing for battle for this promises to bring back the glory that was at its highest in Q2.
Prepare to make peace with your GODS. Fatal1ty was not even present in the days of old (Q1, Q2) and the True Veterans, Ghosts and Legendary warriors are rising again!
That cox link is dead I am at a new base of operations on a t3 rr network...premuim cable for the layman. The Hardware is outstanding and the skills are insane. Ya better get playing Doom3 again its what the Quake4 engine is on.
