One thing I don't understand...

"QUAKE 4 begins only moments after the events of QUAKE II..."
Riiiiight... Ok, fine... But why is it then that Rhino squad's leader says to the troops in the ship that a lone marine (you, in Quake 2) disabled the big gun and destroyed the strogg leader (The Makron).
Now, Quake 2 didn't exactly take place moments after...? What kind of time frame do you think Quake 2 took place in?
