Now that Q4 is but 2 weeks away, it would be a great time to revisit some memories from a few great Q3 demos. Post your choice for the top 5 demos, and we can remember the good ol' days, have a feew beers and discuss quake.

Does anyone know if there are any Q3-test demos? I remember hearing a few times that Thresh messed about in Q3-test and there was a demo, a first 'real' tricking demo of sorts.

in no particular order: fatal1ty vs makavelli on dm13 from razer cpl, wombat vs ravenshadow (owned hard) on t2 from razer cpl, stelam vs anyone from wcg2k1-ish but especially the domination of maka on pt4, czm vs fox on aero from eswc(?), cha0ticz vs fat on pt4 from the wcg2k2 qualifiers (last second rail omgomgomg!!11).

or i could just watch the demos of CE dominating GD over and over from the q3w-tdm we did in fall of 2k2 or spring of 2k3 (don't remember when it was) and me beating a clanmate on t4 when i was pinging like 250 from germany and he was at about 50.

i just uploaded death row vs fith to cached.net, but thresh isn't in it. makavelli, handiman, reptile, and unholy.

it usually takes them a day or two to approve it.

Kewl man. Speaking of which, do you have any of those good q3w demos of ole laying around handy? I wasn't around in post-2002 so I missed out on the action over here. I have seen Duhard vs. YourGrampa which was hillarious

Do you have anything good to upload? I doubt cached or cyberfight would care for these, but you can always use an upload site like http://rapidshare.de/ one of the best, they delete stuff months at a time, and files that have downloads stay even much longer...

i'm pretty sure i have the q3w-tdm demos, but they're on my laptop in my office so i won't know for sure until monday. i do have one match... CE vs GD maybe? i'm on one team and azer's on the other and my team wins. nuff said.
also found one of me beating zyte on a NYC server on ztn.

lol, those teams were still stacked if i remember correctly. well, at least id legends vs CE. good times.

email sent... not a great demo, by any means. the really funny one is me crushing raw on tourney2, and i'm sure i have some that involve drum getting the gauntlet

I remember this tourney..I recruited Apoztle and GATOR to play with me and raze. I also remember going out one night, drinking beer, raising hell and when I came back home that night ready to crush all standing in our way, our team was disqualified for not knowing when our match was scheduled..we miss the deadline (that nobody knew) and we lose by default..guess that's what happens when a moron runs a tourney.

rofl, that would've been worth it. don't think i've ever played against gaytor, unless he was aliased on a pub tdm.
