Punkbuster is kicking me off

hi
I have punkbuster installed, but when I try to join a server, I get kicked out after about 1 minute by punkbuster. I think my install may be a bit old. Can someone tell me how to update this?
I am running MacOS X Panther and Quake G4.

http://www.evenbalance.com/downloads/pbweb.exe
put that in your q3arena/pb directory and run it. it'll download all the little pb files. might take a few minutes for it to finish, but you should be good once it's finally done.

bring down the quake3 console and try and note the error or explanation why your kicked.
it could simply be a silly thing like an invalid user name with a funny character.
does this happen on all servers

heh, my bad. some sort of psychological thing where my brain refused to believe someone could use a mac and play something besides the sims.
