"Ubisoft has just announced that Brothers in Arms: Road To Hill 30 has gone gold, and will be shipping next week. The Xbox version will be in stores March 1, while the PS2 and PC versions will show up in stores "shortly after". BiA will retail for $49.99. "

Nice, been looking forward to this ultra realistic WW2 tactical/squad based/simulator FPS shooter. :icon31:

You command a squad much like in SWAT 4 or Raven shield and all the men in your squad are real life persons that were fighting for the 502 airborne company.
ALL the maps in the game are exact copys of the real battlefields based from arial photos and journals/blue prints.

Multiplayer is a bit different, here you are a group leader and command a squad of 3 other men, so you can play 4 players on a server each controlling ur own character in first person AND 3 more squad members.. so lets say me and you Chunk are on AXIS.. you control your charcter and 3 others in your squad, same for me.. that equals 8 players(2 players and 6 bots) and memphis and Eraser is on Allies controlling one charcter and 3 squad mates each..

So its 8 vs 8(in reality 2vs2) and you shout out orders to your A.I members while your covering a flank.

It could be because they are working hard on getting it out on 3 major platttforms(PC,Xbox and PS2)and dont have the time to put aside 15 guys to work on a demo.

BIA is already a major hyped game with expensive TV adds, good scores on previews, loved by war veterans etc etc...

So i think they are home safe and can release a demo 3-4 weeks after the game hit the shelfs.

You cunt.

Did it really surprise you? Name a decent FPS for the PC that has had coop in the past few years, then compare how many you can think of to how many didn't bother with it. Its a huge shame, coop rocks.
