Quake 3 on a LAN

The computer guy at uni has allowed me to raise money by running several games on the uni LAN, under one condition, it has to be totally legit. One of the games, I've decided will be quake 3. I have a valid and legit CDkey, but if i want to run more than one copy of quake on the LAN will it be a (legal?) problem to do so with the same cd key each time?

Just to clarify, it's not legal to run more than one version with the same CD key on a secure (ie not connected to the internet) LAN?
Even though the source code's been released?

charging people membership to join a "computer games club".
I'm doing an art degree, and we have to raise money for our end of year show, so it's not going into my back pocket.

Very much illegal.
Though the source code has been released, that does not free up the legal rights imposed on the game media (artwork).

they might also be pissed that you're basically renting out their game. i seem to recall that that was a big fight between id and cpl.

The work around for that is charging people a membership fee to play the games for free. I'm doing the same to watch DVDs using the projector/interractive whiteboard.
