				Here's an autoexec.cfg I made for Doom 3 based on these 2 guides:

Hopefully most of it will work with Q4.

				Yep, I'm sure the UpsetChaps folks will do a tweak guide soon after release. It shouldn't be terribly different from Q4 seeing as they are the same game engine. 
TweakGuides will do a tweak guide for sure, stay tuned to their page. (And again, I hope it's just little modification from the stock D3 cvars).

				Also, any of you guys that have a good Q3-based teamplay config for CTF or TDM can you post em up. I like what I saw saturn using it one of those q3w demos. 
Modifiying it for Q4 shouldn't be that hard I think. rgoer did mention that the alias command is slightly different in Q4 now.
EDIT: Mentioned in the binds sticky, meh.

				hatefactor sez some of the console commands have changed, so a Doom3 config might have to be altered a bit?

He said they changed compared to quake3, the example he gave is cg_fov is now g_fov. In doom3 it's also g_fov, I doubt they changed that much, maybe added some more stuff.

				Damn, I wish I would have added a //'what does this cvar do' comment to each line, so it would be easier to go back to it and modify things. I will probably do it with the Q4 config though.

				Yeah I just added that because sometimes you might want to have a slightly different config for other mods (like I do, for Q3 at least). Just added that so I know that it came from the BASED3 folder, not from the xpansion for instance.

Correct. 

 I actually wasn't aware 'g_fov' was taken from Doom 3. That tells you how much I played that game. 
BTW, I also recall 'cg_drawgun' not working, so I had to change it in the Menu, noob-style. :icon27:

				HateFactor: To show/hide the gun model use ui_showGun command and for the HUD g_showHud. Most of the commands are the same as in Doom 3.
