Saving various config changes

g_fov 120 doesn't seem to want to stick. This problem was in DOOM 3 as well... is there a way to permanently get the fov to stick, no matter what?
The other thing is com_allowconsole. Is there a way to get this to permanently stay?
Putting both of these in autoexec.cfg doesn't work.

Did you put "seta" in front of those commands?
Like:
seta com_allowConsole 1

com_allowconsole doesn't get archived, I don't think
just add +set com_allowconsole 1 to your shortcut
if you write g_fov to your cfg file, the fov will get set correctly when you exec your cfg

But man, execing a config every time is kind of lame. Can that be added to shortcuts as well?

See the other config thread for some good tweaking guides.

if autoexec isn't working for you, you can also add +exec mogul to your command line

Rails?
And yeah, I've apparently solved the problem by +set <> and +exec <> everything that I need in the command line. Cool.

Make an alias that execs your configs. Then make one that execs that...

Is there a command that gets rid of flying body parts? Can team colors be changed or at least change the shade?
