Here's what's new in Firefox 1.0.1:

Uninstall older version but don't delete the folder or anything else. If you install on top you will get 2 version in control panel, if you try to uninstall version 1 you will uninstall firefox. A really shitty bug, the update addresses 650 bugs, 25 security holes and a few crash related fixes.

Waits for fixes to be added into the G4-optimized build he uses

Any word on 1.1, since I hear it adds tons for Mac users?

I noticed v1.0 is slow to draw the save dialogue box compared to 0.9. I hope that's fixed. Plus v1.0 tells me Adblock won't work with that version when I tried to install it at work (even though it works fine on same version at home, and Adblock SHOULD work with 1.0, wtf?).

oh, and i'm still using firefox 0.8 because i'm stubborn and set in my ways like a 90-year-old post-war veteran.

Best way to update is to grab the zipped version from mozillas ftp, remove the folder on your drive and put the new one on there. :ninja:
