Quake3World

I finnally got quake 3 to run succsefully on my os 10.4.2. I installed the latest point release, and the new update off the apple website. When i went into multiplayer, and selcted under server finding options "Interent" er stomthing like that, it started searching through like 1,355 servers er somthing then i just crashed. and now it crashes everytime i try i click on multiplayer and it starts serrching, can anyone help?
