I thought I heard there was a remake for it, but after lanning every game I could find, I came up distraught

There is a post floating around here somewhere on DM6 and about a guy whos doing it,there was a site link with some pics.
Im to tired to sift through & find it for ya , Its here somewhere though

quake 1 had those lovely maps: dm6, dm4, dm2 (and death32, base32), will I find them in quake 4?

o'dium is working on a dm6 for Q4, but not sure how much time he's putting into it right now.
I'm sure there will be other mappers working on that one too, but there haven't been any made yet. The game's only been out 3 days.

Ya I just figured they'd at least have that as a staple for MP play, for they got dm17 which was popular, xaero gravity which sucked either way and still brought it over. just my 2 cents but gah dm6 is like a memento of the past.

I played a tourney on DM13 last night and remembered how good it was. Would make a nice port too.
