Quake3World

Hi all, I used to play Q3 alot back in the day, then switched to UT. I always liked Q3, but was spending most my time in UT with clans. Plus, it seemed Q3 was more inundated with bot users, etc.. Since the idea of competing against cheaters fills me with overwhelming hate, I kinda stuck with my UT community, where cheaters were more scarce.

My point is:
I just picked up Q4, and do not have Q3 anymore (lost it), but I'm sorry, Im really not seeing much difference.

Can you peeps point out the serious improvments?

there isnt any. its quake3 with new maps. (and a single player)

well, thats sucks! I hate single player! It's stupid, unless your a freak or something. Anyone else?

i completely agree. thats why i only buy single player game. i'm a freak.

ok,Im sorry. Do not mean to offend any single player peeps. I guess Im just a bit pissed at the fact I bought Q4, and would love to return it, cant, and buy Q3 for less. I bought into all the hype, dammit.

Its a good game, plenty to learn

With Quake 3 and Quake 4 being equal (although I don't agree, but that's besides the point) you'd be better off playing Q4, since there will be more servers and players.

even if the games suck, ill still probably keep buying :icon15: games like a lemming cuz im such a fan
