VIA and Doom3World.org are starting a Quake 4 mapping competition. Starting next week and ending on December 31st, level designers should create a new, unreleased, competitive 1v1 map for the game, with unannounced hardware as prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd best maps.

Sweet as hell, that should get the ball rolling on some maps.

Wish there was a contest for new ctf maps as well though. I don't play tourney much.
