ok so I appreciate there's a lot of moaning about this that and the other etc ...

but fuck only had two quick sessions so far - and although have no binds set up or anything and was flailing about trying to sort out a decent mouse sens etc - it was very very cool to be on a quake server again - just felt right at home - shame it looks uglier than q3a - lol - not quite sure how they managed that but am very confident that we'll soon have a tonne of very nice maps to play :)

I'm pretty sure we will all eventually scalp each others cvar tips / settings etc and get this fucker running smoothly -

mental - the single player is a bag of shite - am only a little way in and already doubt I will bother playing it again .. but q4 multi has alreadt whet my appetite :)

single player still sucks though

dunno if you've noticed, but in tournament mode there's a whole bracket system with all matches of one round taking place simoultaniously, pretty cool stuff :icon14:

CTF's fun as well, although there have been many complaints of the green/orange team colors (instead of red/blue) not being clear enough.

Yeah, i will not play this in SP, but it sure feels like home on the MP front.
