Can radio frequency be used to transmit/send/receive quake3 data?
With ecc I mean to bypass the net???

we use radio lans at work and i've played quake with it.

We can continue this discussion in the quake3world forums, but I'm not sure if this is the proper place to discuss these discussions...
I noticed in the link that they mentioned the (UWB). Has the FCC fully approved this as of yet? Last I read they had tentatively approved the Ultra Wideband. And that was several years ago.
Is it possible to setup a broadband radio WAN? I'm thinking that if people can talk wirelessly over thousands of miles, that computers can also.
