that's inspiring for a "typical" mapper? how interesting. i would have thought more elaborate structures or architecture would do it for you.

IIRC similar theme was in one of "Painkiller" levels. I can't find a screenshot with the generator but it probably was the map from shot below.

As far as i know, Dennis "headshot" Kaltwasser, (still?) Lead Map Designer for Unreal Tournament, once lived in Essen, Germany - and there are a lots of Industrial Monuments (Zeche), like stated in
http://www.dubtown.de/index.htm - maybe he got his inspiration from there? :icon25:
