That's god damned awesome news. I know most people dislike the mod(mainly 1 v 1 players), I find it to be extremelly fun to play.

duffman - Blondie's next Tuesday in the Aladdin from 10 pm to 2 am. I didn't go tonight, but I've only missed two Tuesdays now in 3 months (I went to Freakin' Frog tonight). Blondie's is $10 to get in and all the beer on tap is free. Couple that with that 6 beer pong tables and it's fucking fun. You'll recognize me if I come...I'm a blonde haired guy with a mohawk and my septum pierced. If I don't find a girl to be my beer pong partner, than I'm usually partners with an Indian guy (he lives a few floors below me and we catch a cab there together) until I find a girl to be my partner.
Oh yeah, on topic: RA is fun.

WOOOHOOOOOOOO!!! Now people can vote on 1 fucking map 99% of the time like they did with that fucking overkill in ra3. It's a shame no other maps ever get played.

When the mod was abandoned for more then a year and any maps that were released couldnt compare to 1/11/12 at all it shouldnt be surprising...
Hopefully a ton of maps are released early and often so that a few good ones will shake out.

I too hope they have more maps that get played. 1/11/12 were cool, but the repitition just got to be too much for me.

I suppose but from Sept 28 01 to Oct 24 2002 there wasnt any updates, official map releases, bug fixes, anything. I like to believe that RA is one of the top tier mods up with OSP and CMPA, and it took crt handing over the development to Elqueffo and his group for any of the features standard in those mods to get implemented.
All I was saying is that if people want other maps to be played there needs to be less time for people to become so attached to certain maps, and more selection to choose from, and just like how mostly stock/official maps are played in tournaments, official 'ra3 approved' maps were the only ones that made it on to the servers for the most part...
