I'm getting annoyed at playing and hearing ambient sound, like in the lost fleet there is a constant wind type sound and every few seconds an electricity sound from the cracked lights on the walls.

How can I disable ALL sound from the map? I only want to hear my own and enemy movements, pickups etc.

Like with many other things, we'll have to wait for a mod that has the option to disable it (like s_ambient 0 in CPMA/OSP).
