S-Video and Monitor

If you hook up the monitor and a TV through the S-video output ..

will both play simultaneously or just one or the other?

As in the same screen?

it depends on the videocard. most now en days you have an option for them to display the same picture or act as two diffrent Screens..

if thats now what you ment, then you can use Both of these things at the same time. and yes, you can :)

Watch out when watching movies though... Framebuffer functions only on one screen. If you want a mirrored screens with a movie, make sure to set the hardware acceleration on the lowest notch.

For watching movies its best to extend the display onto the TV though.
