Fucking hell!! I've made the same fuckign thing 97 times now and Q4 just keeps ignoring my particles, even though I save them... I KEEP SAVING THEM ut it wont FUCKING SAVE IT JUST LIES.

And then, I remember i cant have more than one sky portal. Why i dont know but i cant.

So what i do is i make the sky i want, i even model out the planets, code in the particle effects and all sorts... YEAH ANOTHER 100 TIMES... And then decide to do an envmap of middle so that I can have more than one...

BUT NO. Quake 4 wont let you do envmaps over 256x256, otherwise it pisses on your kids and messes up the bloody pictures...

WHAT THE FUCK?! I'm sure they did NOT use this fucking engine to make the game otherwise it would never of come out...

lol - i was trying to make my first map ever this morning - it has to be said that I can't quite believe they used this editor to make q4 - it truly is the least usable bit of software I think I've ever seen - and yes you're right, even trying a box room tutorial I got bored thinking I'd saved things only to then come back and find it hadn't saved it all - pretty poor shit
