Quake3World

I have to use the bracket keys, [ ], to switch who I'm speccing or change arenas. Is there a way to configure it for switching with the mouse like in q3? But for some reason it works with the mouse in DM.

Also, whenever I'm speccing and a match goes to sudden death, it kicks me back to the spec screen before I chose who to spec. Wtf is the point of that?

It uses the same key as you have next/previous weapon bound to in tourney I think, so you can bind it to mousewheelup/down...

Thanks jester. Well I have my mousewheel up/down already bound to rox and rail so I can't use those. But I've just bound a small button on my MX510, ( a button which is right in front of the wheel), to 'next weapon' and yes that works in tourney mode now. It only scrolls through players forward and not backwards, but that's sufficient.

Curious though, how would one bind mouse 1 to do this without losing mouse 1 as the attack key, same as in DM? I was looking for a bind in my config that would show mouse 1 as attack and also as spectator follow mode but couldn't find one. Or even using mousewheel up and down but without losing the rox and rail binds?

You could have a key toggle your mouse1 from +attack to _impulseX wit ha script...

i have ousewheel to rl and rail too..

and my "]" doesn't work too well, kinda annoying
