Mod problems.

I just downloaded the X-Battle, and Q4Max mods. I then started quake and tried activating them each. But even with them activated I couldn't enter any Q4Max or X-Battle servers. It gave me the same old message saying that I don't have the files to enter the server. Not sure what I did wrong.

All you need to do is extract them to your root Q4 folder and leave them be.
Then in your baseq4 folder download every custom map out there, big ones to get are.

You probably were just missing a map.

till it's fixed you need the map that specific server is running .. check out the website of the server host.
